BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL
Throughout my early childhood education journey, I have been lucky enough to have several fantastic mentors who guided me, gave me inspiration for what a great teacher looks like, and supported me through the learning process. I am extremely grateful for all that I have learned from my mentor teachers and will continue to learn and grow as a teacher myself. Looking at the NAEYC standards, I feel more competent in using content knowledge to create meaningful curriculum. This section highlights some of my journey of becoming an early childhood development professional, including my professional certifications, insights from mentor teachers, and skills.
